Table of Contents:
Supplies List:
Two small "Milk Bottle" style glass vases
One "Pot Belly" style glass vase
One four-inch bird's nest
Two faux Finch birds
One bag of plastic eggs (The bag I purchased from Michael's contained 15 eggs, but I only used 12. You might need to use more or fewer eggs depending on the size of your glass vase.)
Two Forsythia picks
Two Lilac picks
Kitchen or craft twine
Easy DIY Spring & Easter Arrangement Instructions:
Step One:
Start by trimming six strands of twine about 16 inches long. Separate the strands into two piles of three strands and gently twist the new thicker strands together.
Step Two:
Tie the strands around the "Milk Bottle" glass vases. I tied a bow around one vase and a square knot around the other to keep things interesting!
Step Three:
Put the Forsythia picks inside one of the glass vases. Bend the stems just a bit to create a more life-like look.
Step Four:
Put the Lilac picks inside the other glass vase and bend the stems a little to make them appear just a bit more realistic.
Step Five:
Next, take the two Finch birds and attach them to their nest. Mine came with wire attached to the birds' feet, but you can use floral wire to connect your birds to the nest if you need to.
Arrange the birds in the nest to create a life-like appeal. I like to have my birds facing each other like they're having a conversation. Aren't they adorable?
Step Six:
Stack the plastic eggs inside the "Pot Belly" glass vase. Feel free to arrange the eggs however you like so your favorite colors stand out!
Step Seven:
Place the bird's nest with the birds on top of the vase. This arrangement is getting pretty cute, wouldn't you say?
Step Eight:
Take the floral vases and arrange them with the birds and eggs vase. I placed the floral vases on each side of the birds and eggs and here’s how the final arrangement turned out!
I put the trio arrangement on a side table in my upstairs landing area. I added a couple of votive candles to complete the look. I love how this spring arrangement with a touch of Easter turned out!
