Supplies List:

(All items were purchased at Walmart and Dollar Tree for a budget-friendly craft!)

  • 1 Easter basket

  • 1 sleeve of plastic Easter eggs

  • 2 packs of yellow paper Easter grass

  • 3 plastic ramekin cups

  • 1 Lily bush (we’ll use 3 stems for this project)

  • Floral wire + floral pliers or sturdy scissors

  • 2 chocolate bunnies

  • A mix of Easter candy (jelly beans, chocolate mini eggs, and mini Cadbury eggs)

How to Make a DIY Easter Candy Basket Instructions:

Step 1: Trim the Lily stems
Use floral pliers or scissors to clip three stems from the Lily bush.

Step 2: Attach Lilies to the Basket

  • Stand two stems inside the basket beside the handle, bending them slightly to match the curve of the handle.

  • Use floral wire to secure the stems to the handle.

  • Place the third Lily stem inside the basket. You can clip or bend it to fit as needed.

  • Use floral wire to attach the third stem to the others. Adjust as necessary for the best fit.

Step 3: Add the Easter Grass
Empty both packs of yellow Easter grass into the basket, covering the base and Lily stems.

Step 4: Place the Ramekin Cups
Nestle the three plastic ramekin cups into the grass.

Step 5: Add Chocolate Bunnies and Eggs

  • Gently place the chocolate bunnies beside the ramekin cups.

  • Add plastic Easter eggs around the cups. (I fit three eggs, but it depends on the size of your basket!)

Step 6: Fill the Ramekin Cups with Candy!
Add your favorite Easter treats—jelly beans, chocolate mini eggs, or anything festive, colorful, and yummy!

Step 7: Proudly Display Your Beautiful Easter Candy Basket!

Use the basket as a centerpiece for your Easter table, an entryway accent, or a festive treat display for guests!
